The Bird is the Word

Thanksgiving Day – A day of family gatherings, A day to stuff yourself silly and A day to be thankful for all that you have – just until you run out the following day on “Black Friday” to find more things to be thankful for… Ah yes we know it’s true.

Well I must admit that I am extremely thankful to have such an incredible, supportive family and a weekend where we can all get together.  It also helps that many of us are into cooking so we were able to whip up a mean meal for this Thanksgiving.  Granted we need to work on portion sizes (3/4 of everything is leftover), but each dish sang and in Thanksgiving tradition – sent us into the infamous food coma zone by the time we finished engulfing our plates.
