Styling Profiling Nadia Ali
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of styling the talented and ever-so-charming Nadia Ali for a press photoshoot.
As many of you know, Nadia is the melodic voice behind such hits as”Pressure,” “Feels So Good” and of course “Rapture (Avicii Remix).” But even with her crazy tour schedule (click here for more info) we were able to slip in a quick photoshoot before she headed off to Russia.
The idea behind this shoot was to show the “true” Nadia – Nadia as her natural, effortless, beautiful self. And the results were more than immaculate, thanks to our wonderful team – photographer Reka Nyari and makeup artist Amanda Beczner.
As for the styling, I decided it would be best to pull clothing with rich textures as opposed to jarring prints to really bring out her divine features. So I stuck to lace, fur and metallic pieces, and bitty pops of bijoux. We even found a clever way to incorporate them into the background, but you will have to wait for the final images to see it!

I watched the music video of pressure, and LOVE the two fringed/tassel bracelets Nadia Ali is wearing in the beginning of the video. Do you know where I can find those bracelets? Thanks so much !
