Positano, Italy – Amalfi Coast

In a few days I will be sailing around the coast of Italy for 3 weeks!  This will be my 3rd time visiting the Amalfi Coast, BUT I have never sailed for longer than a day nor I have I visited Sicily, Panarea or the Aioli Islands before.  So to say that I am excited is beyond an understatement and the best part of it all – I get to experience all this beauty with two of my best friends, Erica Pelosini and Louis Leeman.  AND YES – I am documenting the entire trip so you will be on the journey with us as well.

I can’t help but reminisce about my last trip to this picturesque coast where I frolicked around in Positano, roamed through the gardens of Ravello, scooted my way around Capri and gawked at the ruins thats now make up Pompeii.  So in Lieu of my upcoming trip, I decided to share my last experience to see how it will compare to the next.

Today is all about Positano.  The highlights (although the pictures do all the talking) were:

- Staying at Le Sirenuse

- Dining at  Il San Pietro and Ristorante Max

- Cruising along the coast in a Riva

- Perusing through the art galleries and little boutiques

- Dancing the night away at Music on the Rocks

In the next couple of days, I will share Capri, Ravello and Pompeii with you as there are way too many pictures to share all at once.  Since August is officially ‘Italian’ month at A Shah’s Life, I will be signing off with Italian kisses instead of my little Frenchie ones.  Bacini NYS
