The temperature has dropped to a brrrrrr cold that makes you want to either hibernate or jet off to a ski resort where you can take full advantage of the winter weather offerings. And no I’m not talking about making a snowman.
Skiing and snowboarding are the first thing that come to mind, but the 2nd best thing is not far off – Après-ski!
Now in Manhattan chances of hoping on a slope any time soon are pretty much slim to none. But thanks to the people at Hôtel Americano, they have transformed their outdoor rooftop terrace into an enclosed candlelit, sheepskin bearing, fondue loving winter escape restaurant – you could almost swear you were dining in a ski lodge atop a mountain in Switzerland.
Naturally cozy atmosphere equals comfort fare. Conosur does just that serving up cheesy fondues and different types of grilled meats inspired by the Argentinian ‘Parrilla.’ Couldn’t get any better – but wait, it does.
