Capri & Ravello, Italy

T-2 days and I am off to the land of lemons as big as footballs, pizza that melts in your mouth and burrata/pomodoro…. burrata/pomodoro…. Oh Dio Mio.  The water around Capri is so clear and blue and the gardens in Ravello are magical.  Unfortunately I did not have time to try out 2 Michelin Star Restaurant Il Rossellinis at Palazzo Sasso in Ravello, but I am crossing my fingers for my upcoming trip.

In Capri I decided to rent a scooter in order to cruise around Anacapri and Capri carefree.  AND I don’t think I will ever do that again.  I loved being able to go where ever I wanted, but man, those roads are windy and steep!  I do not recommend it.

But the worst is driving around the Amalfi Coast.  Don’t get me wrong, the view is stunning, but I’m not sure your stomach will agree.  Especially after a few cocktails.  Thankfully this time around, it will be smooth sailing.  Bacini NYS
