I couldn’t help myself… when I saw these cherry and marshmallow polka-dot blobs bubbling out of the earth, all I could think about was a psychedelic-hippy-shake-shake kinda shoot that needed to occur before they took my ‘shroom installation away (lesson already learned from American Cowgirl).

Thanks to Yayoi Kusama, we were able to get a little taste of her work on the westside highway due to her retrospective exhibition showing now at the Whitney Museum of American Art until September 30, 2012.

Yes my brain went straight for 70′s drab colored paisleys with Cher slick straight hair.  Makes perfect sense no?  Bisous NYS
