A Day at Opening Ceremony
If you know…you know, but if you don’t know…You must find out! It’s called Opening Ceremony located at 35 Howard Street New York, NY 10013 - (212) 219-2688.
There are definitely a bazillion and one places to shop in NYC but if you are the type of girl who thinks of her wardrobe as art or is trying to find an original piece that only a couple other people may have – it’s here! Opening Ceremony is basically a fashion exchange program bringing you brands from all around the world that you cannot find anywhere else in the states (except maybe at the opening ceremony in LA). INSANE! And not only do you have fashion forward brands like Mugler, Alexandre Herchcovitch, and Mary Katrantzou, but also more established brands like Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang and Rodarte (I could list a million names). The best part is most of them do EXCLUSIVE styles so you can only buy these one-of-a-kind pieces at Opening Ceremony. Besides for clothing, they also have jewelry and accessories by Pamela Love, Delfina Delettrez, Olympia Le-Tan, Alain Quilici and Maison Michele (again to name a few). This is really a must stop place on your trip to NYC if you are a fashionista.
I would have liked to show you all of my must have items, but here are a few pictures from my trip the other day. I MAY have purchased a couple of items that I will be show-casing in future shoots – I could not help myself…bad bad Nausheen! Bisous NYS
